In my recent search of old movies shot in New York City, I bumped into Midnight Cowboy with young Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman — a story about a man from Texas who moves to NYC. It’s a wonderfully art-directed picture and a nuanced visual touches. Of course, a great look into the 1960s Manhattan frenzy.
