A new exhibition at Scandinavia House in Midtown brings together paintings, drawings, photographs, installations, films, and videos by contemporary artists from Åland, Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

Highlights include new pieces by Olafur Eliasson, Katrín Sigurdardóttir, Ragnar Kjartansson, and Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir from Iceland; Israeli-born Danish painter Tal R, Danish artist collaborative SUPERFLEX, and artists Jesper Just and Per Kirkeby; Norwegian performance and video artist Tori Wrånes and photographer Torbjørn Rødland and many more.

For this series, Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson traveled around the islands which surround Iceland. The distinct islands are sequenced according to size, with the tallest land formations in the bottom row.
