Field+Supply is a design fair of modern makers hosted in a stunning converted industrial venue on the bank of the Hudson river in Kingston, NY for the full 3 days. In just five years it has grown into the most definitive Upstate show for home decor, furniture and accessories — each exhibitor showing impeccable attention to detail and craft.

This year’s show includes an expanded roster plus a series of workshops (like making your own leather notebook cover) and lectures (including a launch of a stunning photo book about modern interiors on the Hudson). I stopped by at the opening day to capture the mood and some of my favorite makers.

Hutton Brickyard’s rustic-industrial vibe provides the perfect backdrop for the show

Throughout the three days, expect live music performances
Come hungry because you’ll have to savor some of the food. I fell in love with pork empanadas by Rosie’s Empanadas
