As you may know, I love visiting antique shops everywhere I travel – they are a fun and exciting way to discover something new or learn a thing or two about the past. One of my recent favorites is located in Hawthorne, NJ – some thirty minutes West of New York City. Then and Now Consignment Shop might look small from the outside, but inside you’ll find it PACKED with quirky objects. From antique advertising displays, to department store fixtures and mannequins, rare books, typewriters, period clothing, and anything in between.
