On my recent trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I came across an art bookshop located somewhat off the beaten path from the city’s creative neighborhoods. Founded in 2011, Spaces Corners is a studio and project space with a carefully curated bookshop, book exhibitions, presentations and workshops.

Spaces Corners is led by Melissa Catanese and Ed Panar. Together, they have curated exhibitions surveying the contemporary photography book and are regular guest critics at Hartford Art School MFA photography program.

Spaces Corners is an artist-run photobook gallery and project space — the only place of its kind in Pittsburg

One of the latest releases: Susan Lipper’s new book, “Domesticated Land”
