We’ve all heard about Henry Ford’s sharp ability to innovate and mainstream production — his Model T once changed the world of car making and made it affordable to virtually anyone. What I was always fascinated with is where exactly this innovation happened. In Detroit I found it — Ford Piquette Avenue Plant where Henry Ford had a secret lab he hid from the shareholders of the company that would eventually make the very first Model T.
