Amsterdam-based footwear label introduces a new line of sneakers inspired by urban exploration.

The goal was to create the lightest shoe, for modern urbanites (like myself)  — something with the everyday performance to meet the demands of urban living, yet with a refined and classic athletic look. They chose to release the Race Runner Jet Vesta in three monotone colors — a reflection of the city environments the shoe was designed for.

It wasn’t until the discovery of Livetech — a super lightweight rubber developed in Italy — that Filling Pieces had found a technology good enough to build the lightweight sneaker they had envisioned — featuring a wide footbed for added stability, alongside lateral and medial hollowing for increased flexibility.
