A Look at the Re-Opened Italian Art Gallery in Upstate New York

As galleries and museums slowly start to re-open for the season, I took a trip up North from NYC to Cold Spring, NY — where one of my favorite out-of-town galleries is setting up for a new show.

Visiting Magazzino is free but you have to luck out with an RSVP that come and go online
Each group is signed in separately to allow for distancing
A visitor receives a tiny tracking device that reminds you to keep 6 feet apart. If you get close to another group of people, it gently buzzes

NEW EXHIBITION
A new exhibition dedicated to the work of artist Costantino Nivola, opening May 8, 2021. NY. Nivola will feature a selection of 50 works from the early 1950s to the 1970s, including sandcast reliefs, carved concrete sculptures, and rarely seen architectural maquettes. Read more about the exhibition
