A Sunday Stroll in Brooklyn

A Sunday Stroll in Brooklyn

Brooklyn is always a good idea when it comes to taking a long weekend walk. That’s exactly what I did last Sunday, setting off in Williamsburg and walking South on Bedford Ave, through East Williamsburg and Bed–Stuy.

The stunning Williamsburg Savings Bank built in the 1850s
Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, housed in 1867 former bank building
The gallery at WAH center
A fascinating early 20-century remaining sign for a plumber’s supplies store
Entering Hasidic East Williamsburg on a Sunday, a busy day for locals running errands
Sponsored by Target, this little cosy park gives locals reasons to stay outdoors
Entering Bedstuy, the mood changes. A quiet read at Molino Cafe
One of the few remaining porcelain enamel street signs from the past times
Starkly beautiful vintage bookstore and bar Dear Friend Books in Bedstuy
At Fan-Fan Doughnuts, delicious innovative handmade doughnuts
