When I attended Shoppe Object (New York’s most important trade market for home goods and gifts) last year, I couldn’t imagine the roster of exhibitors could get any bigger. Yet, this year it did — in fact it grew so much that the market had to find a new showroom space, inside the iconic Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea.
