Common Sense: a Multi-Sensory Festival

The second festival of the Design Academy at A/D/O on Saturday, May 13, promised to investigate designers’ power to transform our world through the most fundamental human interfaces: texture and scent, sound and vision. Intrigued and curious, I stopped by to experience it firsthand.

Mr. Burr inspired the audience to associate, not label scents: “What do you smell? Is it post-modernism, dada or romanticism?”
