During one of my recent trips through Connecticut, I bumped into Mongers Market, a 75,000 square foot massive warehouse housing one of the largest selections of antiques, reclaimed goods, architectural details, and home goods.
The building is newly restored by a local antique dealer John HidenA big part of the space is filled with large furniture and reclaimed architectural elementsA large back-lit gas station signA section with vintage lockersA door libraryIf you are looking for an antique cathedral pendant light with enamel and stained glass panels, there’s one tooWith the crowds walking the aisles, one may think they are at IKEA during rush hourThe other section of the warehouse features multiple antique dealers (aka Mongers) and offers an exceptionally eclectic selection of furniture and home goods, books, magazines, posters and such
