I Spent an Entire Day At This Massive Vintage Magazine Warehouse

You may have noticed I have an unending passion for collecting vintage magazines. I’ve been collecting many titles dating back to the early 1800s up to the 1960s — so far I’ve gathered at least 100 different magazine titles from around the world. When I discovered The Archive in Lansdale, PA (some 45 minutes North of Philadelphia) I was beyond thrilled. This expansive warehouse houses the largest collection of vintage magazines, maps, ephemera, and records I’ve ever seen under one roof. After spending an entire day (6 hours!) going through the collection, I had to extend my stay for another day.

The Archive’s large warehouse is open Thursdays through Sundays every week.
One of the multiple rooms lined with long tables, each with hundreds upon hundreds of magazines issues and ephemera.
A stack of early Fortune magazines from the 1930s-1940s.
A few issues of Physical Culture, a magazine on health and fitness from the 1920s
A separate room at The Archive filled with used records

Below are a few of the titles that I’ve never seen before and that I had to add to my collection.
