Upstate New York is indeed a place of wonder where a side road may open up into a farm, a hill, and these days, an ultra-modern art space. Magazzino strives for the latter: a beautiful, barebones building with sharp lines and a curious collection of contemporary Italian artists on view, just off U.S. 9 highway not far from Cold Spring, NY.
