135,000 Lifes, Esquires, New Yorkers, and more under one roof

When Fran DiBacco started his vintage magazine collection in the 1970s, it started with just a few titles. Today, his collection comprises of 135,000 issues of Life, Esquire, Holiday, Playboy, The New Yorker, and many other titles from the 1900s and on. While offering original issues as anniversary gifts, Fran has been building out “The Vintage Magazine Nostalgia Center”, a visual space and exhibition showcasing American visual culture through magazines and ephemera.
