Rare Books at a Hidden Barn in Connecticut

Just minutes away from New Haven, CT and Yale University, there are two unassuming weatherbeaten barns sitting amid a scenic pasture. Inside, owner Norm Pattis and store manager Meg Turner set up an intellectual paradise with more than 50,000 vintage, rare and out-of-print books, maps and ephemera. The store is open Wednesday through Sunday every week.
